Day 40 June 2 Day Nine—Ten Days of Constant Prayer
Read: Psalm 84
Reflection: Inside each of us is an empty spot longing for God. We may not know God is what is missing until we find Him and we become filled. Once we know Him, we crave more
and long to be home with Him.
Adoration: You have prepared a place for me and my home is with You.
Confession: Sometimes I get caught up in the chores of my daily life, finding them far more
important than they should be. I forget this is all temporary.
Thanksgiving: Thank You for filling me and allowing me to feel whole and loved. Thank You for giving me a glimpse of my eternal place. I am grateful for Your strength, which carries me from day to day.
Supplication: Remind me this world is not my true home. Whether I live in comfort or in struggle,
God, You are leading me homeward, to be with You.
Prayer: Thank you Lord for Your constant love for me. Thank You for your promises and for
Your faithfulness, even when I lack faith. Please help me to remember that my home is with You, that I am a tourist here on Earth. It is with great joy that I look forward to being in Your presence, to worship and to adore You for all eternity. Please help me to keep my sight on that goal and help me to know You better each day. Thank You that your grace has saved me even though I do not deserve Your mercy. Please sustain me Lord with Your strength while I long to be at Your feet singing of Your love and glory.
