Day 16    May 9, 2006

Read:   Psalm 3

Reflection: The answer for a good night’s sleep is to know that the Lord sustains me in all circumstances.

Adoration: God is a shield about me, and He lifts my head above all adversaries.

Confession: It is tempting to believe the negative things others say about me. Instead I need to listen to what God is ready and willing to do for me as His blessed child.

Thanksgiving: I thank God that He hears my voice every time I cry out to Him and He is ready to fight all opposition on my behalf.

Supplication: I humbly ask God to continue working His salvation process in me every day so that I don't have any reason to be afraid of the future.

Prayer:
Dear Father in Heaven,
I give You praise for delivering me from sin. Thank You for lifting my head when I feel circumstances are rising up against me. You, O Lord, are my shield and You have blessed me even when it seems I have many enemies. May I return Your blessings with my praise today.
